1. The Promoter

The Promoter of all Wakey Wins competitions is Wakefield Trinity Rugby League Football Club, operating from:

DIY Kitchens Stadium Doncaster Road Wakefield WF1 5EY

2. The Competition

These terms and conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and any competition‑specific details published on the Wakey Wins platform, set out the full extent of the Promoter’s obligations and your rights as an Entrant. If there is any conflict between documents, the following order applies:

  1. Competition‑specific details (highest priority)
  2. These terms and conditions 
  3. Privacy Policy (lowest priority)

If any part of these documents is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

You may enter any Wakey Wins competition by:

Each participant who enters via either method is an Entrant.

3. How to Enter

3.1 Competition Window

Competitions open from the Published Date and close on the Closing Date, both displayed on the Wakey Wins website or app. All times refer to UK time.

If circumstances beyond our control require it, we may amend the Closing Date. Any changes will be updated on the platform and Entrants will be notified.

Entries received outside the Published Date and Closing Date may be disqualified.

3.2 Online Entry Route

To enter online:

  1. Visit the Wakey Wins website or app
  2. Select your desired number of entries
  3. Complete the checkout and submit your entry
  4. Make payment to receive confirmation and your ticket number(s)

All entries must be submitted in English.

We are not responsible for entries that fail due to technical issues.

By entering, you agree to be bound by these terms.

3.3 Free Postal Entry Route

You may enter the competition for free by complying with the following conditions:

  1. Send your handwritten entry on an unenclosed postcard by first or second class post to the Promoter at the following address: Wakey Wins, DIY Kitchens Stadium, Doncaster Road, Wakefield, WF15EY
  2. Hand delivered entries will not be accepted and will not be entered into the random draw;
  3. Include with your entry the following information (all details must match the details on your account):
    • The name or details of the competition you wish to enter;
    • Your full name;
    • Your address;
    • A contact telephone number and email address;
    • Your answer to the Competition Question.
  4. Incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified;
  5. Postal entries are limited to one entry per person, per postcard for each competition. Bulk entries in one envelope will not be accepted as multiple entries and if a bulk entry is received, it will be counted as one single entry.
  6. By entering the competition, you are confirming that you are eligible to enter and accept these terms and conditions.
  7. Your entry must be received by the Promoter 48 hours prior to the Closing Date. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be entered into the random draw. Proof of posting does not guarantee that you will be entered into the random draw;
  8. The Promoter will not acknowledge receipt of your entry nor confirm if your answer to the Competition Question is correct.
  9. If the number of entries received reaches any cap or limit before your free entry is received, you will not be entered into the random draw.
  10. Your entry is subject to our full terms and conditions.

4. Choosing a Winner

All valid Entrants will be placed into a draw. Winners are selected using a verifiably random draw process on or after the Closing Date.

If a draw is disrupted or inconclusive, we may rerun it using the same or an alternative random method.

5. Eligibility

Competitions are open to anyone aged 18 or over, residing in a location where it is lawful to enter and receive the prize.

We may require proof of eligibility. Failure to provide it may result in disqualification.

We reserve the right to disqualify entries that:

Refunds are only issued in exceptional circumstances at our discretion.

6. The Prize

Prize details are listed on each competition page. Non‑cash prizes are subject to availability and may be substituted with an item of equal or greater value if necessary.

Prizes are non‑transferable and non‑negotiable.

Any costs not expressly included are the responsibility of the winner.

7. Winners

The winner’s name may be announced during the draw unless you request otherwise.

We will contact winners using the details provided. If a winner cannot be reached within 21 days, we may select an alternate winner.

For higher‑value prizes, proof of identity and address may be required.

8. Claiming the Prize

Prizes must be claimed personally. Third‑party claims are not permitted.

If your contact details change, you must notify us promptly.

Entries may be declared invalid if they fail validation checks or are found to be fraudulent.

Cash prizes will be transferred to a bank account belonging to the winner.

9. Limitation of Liability

We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or negligence. We are not responsible for loss that is unforeseeable.

10. Data Protection and Publicity

By entering, you agree that your personal data may be used to administer the competition and inform you of future Wakey Wins promotions, in line with our Privacy Policy.

You may request not to participate in publicity, but we may still need to provide winner details to the Advertising Standards Authority if requested.

11. General

We may amend these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on the Wakey Wins platform.

We reserve the right to void, suspend or cancel competitions where necessary.

Competitions are not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Meta, Apple or Google.

These terms are governed by English law, and disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
